STATUS FLASH |
Project Status as of: |
Monday, April 14, 2008 |
Accomplishments: |
A notice to proceed was issued to Huff & Mitchell (HMI) with an effective date of Monday, February 25, 2008 to commence work on the Queensbury Improvement Project. HMI mobilized on March 24, 2008. The first infrastructure project by the TIRZ-17 is near completion. The contractor, Huff & Mitchell, has installed the larger box culverts and manholes along Queensbury between the West Sam Houston Parkway to Town & Country Boulevard. The new and improved storm sewer was necessary to come into compliance with the City of Houston drainage criteria. |
Upcoming Tasks: |
The tasks for the week of April 14-19th include installing an inlet to tie-in the new storm sewer to an existing one on Town & Country Boulevard and cleaning up the area. The project will be considered substantially complete, meaning the sewer system is fit to be used for its intended purpose.
